¤ What is the difference between an anti-odour sole and the Sikoped antiperspirant inner sole? |
| |
Anti-odour soles, such as activated carbon soles and others, absorb the humidity and thus the perspiration. However, these soles do not have any long term effect as they only serve to mask the perspiration by eliminating the consequences, such as bad odours; they do not resolve the cause of the problem.
Through its exclusive process, Sikoped is the only inner sole that truly combats the cause of perspiration. In fact, the gases released, which are activated through the warmth of the feet, regulate the perspiration during a significant period of time for any person suffering from excessive perspiration of the feet as well as eliminating all the unpleasant side effects.

¤ Is the Sikoped inner sole hypoallergenic? |
| |
People have been wearing this appliance since 1980; the antiperspirant Sikoped inner sole is made of a cellulose fibre base on which the Sikoped product is applied as well as an anti-slip honeycombed latex layer.
Prior to being imported into Italy, the Italian Ministry of Health asked the University of Bologna to test the Sikoped inner sole.
Here are the conclusions of the test:
« The Sikoped inner sole does not cause any irritation, reaction or delay in the growth of hair locally, according to the results of the test. On clinical examination or autopsy, Sikoped applied to the skin of rabbits did not produce any irritation. The Sikoped effects guarantee the absence of side effects provided that its usage has been recommended. » « The active principle integrated in Sikoped has proven that it is capable of regulating perspiration and eliminating the effects of perspiration.»
|
¤ How long does the Sikoped inner sole last? |
| |
Sikoped inner soles are transported from the production workshop to the distributor in strong hermetically-sealed boxes containing between 200 and 250 pairs.
They are then packed in plastic bags.
When the temperature gets close to body temperature, i.e. 35°C, the Sikoped biological gases start to evaporate. Therefore, it is best to keep the soles in their original packaging, at ambient temperature, as long as this does not exceed 30°C; it is therefore preferable to keep them in a cool place. |
